In poker, how big the players' remaining chips are compared to the money already in the pot.
As stated in the literature
The ratio of the effective stack to the current pot size, a standard measure of remaining betting leverage; one of the deterministic facts PokerSkill's context engine computes for each decision.
Also called: SPR
Why it matters: It tells a player how much betting leverage remains, shaping whether to commit to a hand or stay cautious.
For example, if the pot holds 100 chips and each player still has 1,000 chips behind, the large ratio means there's plenty of room left for big bets later in the hand.
