Plain language
The tallest landmark on the simulated island the agents live on.
As stated in the literature
A fixed elevated structure in the study's environment used as the target for two of the four assigned evaluation tasks (placing objects on it, and throwing a block onto it without climbing).
Why it matters: Having one fixed, tall, hard-to-reach target gives a consistent yardstick for whether the agent's physical skill is actually improving over time.
For example, one task asks the agent to climb up and set an object on the Spire, and a harder one asks it to land a thrown block up there from the ground.
