A self-improving AI setup where the writer and the judge grading it both evolve together, with a trick that wipes old scores so a tougher judge can actually re-rank.

A self-improvement framework (after the Red Queen co-evolution metaphor) that lets the evaluator evolve alongside the agent: judges are frozen within epochs, swapped only when a challenger beats a fixed ground-truth anchor, with selective erasure of stale scores so a new judge can re-rank prior nodes.
Why it matters: It keeps a self-improving system honest by ensuring the bar rises along with the writer, preventing it from coasting on a grader it has already learned to please.
For example, as an AI writer improves, its grader is also upgraded to a tougher one, and old scores are wiped so the new grader can fairly rank everything again.
