Personally Identifiable Information — data that can identify a specific person; masking or redacting it is a common regulated procedure (e.g., under GDPR) that AI agents are increasingly asked to perform or verify, and one of the lowest-compliance procedures in behavioral-compliance benchmarks.

Why it matters: Handling it correctly is required by privacy laws, and agents that fail to redact it can expose real people's private details.
For example, before sharing a customer support log, a company might blank out names, phone numbers, and account IDs it contains.
