Definition
Plain language
A shared folder where an AI can see other AIs' finished work and scores.
As stated in the literature
Experimental condition exposing an agent to sibling agents' artifacts, scores, and transcripts, allowing it to infer the reward structure without being told it.
Also called: peer-workspaces, peer logs, peer-logs
Why it matters: It tests whether an AI will pick up and act on an incentive nobody explicitly told it about, which is closer to how pressures actually leak into real systems.
For example, an AI given access to a shared folder can see that the other assistants with the shortest logs got the highest scores, and draw its own conclusions about what to do next.
