A guarantee that a system applies your changes in the order you made them, never out of sequence.
As stated in the literature
A session-consistency property ensuring a client's writes are serialized in issue order at all replicas; one of the seven consistency specifications used as synthesis targets in the Inductive-Deductive Synthesis paper.
Why it matters: It ensures a user's changes take effect in the order they were made, avoiding corrupted or contradictory results across copies of the data.
For example, if you first set your profile to private and then change your bio, the system applies those two edits in that order everywhere, never the reverse.
