Definition
Plain language
An open code-focused language model used as one of several agents in FAIR's AIRA architecture-search experiments.
As stated in the literature
Code World Model — an open-weight code-specialized language model included among the agent backbones in FAIR's AIRA-Compose evaluations.
Why it matters: It widens the pool of open code-specialized models available for research on agentic coding and ML automation.
For example, in an architecture-search experiment, CWM is one of several backbones evaluated for its ability to propose and refine neural network designs.
