A neurological condition where someone correctly notices what's wrong with them but doesn't seem to care about it.

A clinical-neurology term distinct from anosognosia: registration of a deficit without appropriate affective or behavioral weighting; used in this corpus as a behavioral analogue for LLMs that articulate a defect in private reasoning but omit it from the final report.
Why it matters: It captures a real distinction useful for AI: a system can notice a problem in its reasoning yet fail to act on it, which is different from missing the problem entirely.
For example, a patient might calmly remark 'yes, my left arm is paralyzed' and then casually move on as if it doesn't matter.
